Press Credentials

AMA press credentials are available to reporters, editors working as reporters, producers, camera operators and still photographers who present their official press credentials.

Exceptions must be approved by the Director of the AMA Division for Media Relations and Communication Services, or designee.

“New media” journalists, such as bloggers, must authenticate their status as reporters by supplying links to and/or samples of their blogs or media outlets. Credentials will be granted at the discretion of the Director.

AMA members who claim reporter status, rather than registering as association members, will be held to these same standards for approval, and if approved will receive only the same access as other members of the media.

In the event that there is limited space for media at a program or event, the AMA reserves the right to limit the number of representatives of each media outlet attending the event. Media representatives who violate guidelines for coverage of an AMA event, whether written or oral, may have their credentials withdrawn.

AMA credentials are not available to staff of media advertising, marketing, public relations or management departments or firms.

To request Press Credentials for this event, please contact the AMA.
